Business Analyst with Strong Banking

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities

- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in a Canadian bank
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
- Collaborate with relationship managers, product owners, compliance, and IT teams
- Experience working with development teams through SDLC or Agile methodologies
- Write transparent, testable user stories and manage product backlogs in tools like JIRA
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in a related field
- Canadian bank experience required
- Strong requirement elicitation and documentation skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum and SDLC
- Proficiency in JIRA or similar product backlog tools
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
