In this position, you will oversee and support students during their lunch breaks, allowing for social interaction while maintaining safety and organization. The role requires valid certifications and may involve obtaining the SB1626 Certificate within 60 days of employment. Candidates should have completed high school or equivalent training in child care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor lunchtime activities and student conduct
• Promote a safe and enjoyable dining atmosphere
• Enforce safety rules to protect students
• Provide support to staff during meal times
• Encourage positive interaction among students
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent necessary
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
• SB1626 Certificate to be achieved shortly after hire
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Strong communication skills necessary
