Be an essential HR Generalist driving daily operations and employee support. Manage HR inquiries, enhance HR processes, support hiring, and boost employee engagement across the organization.
In this hands-on role, you will provide daily HR support while strengthening operations as the company expands. You’ll handle employee relations matters, coordinate hiring efforts, and conduct employee engagement initiatives. Additionally, you’ll assist in improving HR processes to reduce escalations and ensure clarity for leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as first contact for HR questions
• Maintain accurate employee records with confidentiality
• Manage employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
• Triage employee relations matters for guidance
• Conduct investigations and recommend actionable steps
Requirements:
• 3–6+ years HR Generalist experience preferred
• Knowledge of Ontario employment standards required
• Experience in multi-site retail or operations desired
• Proficient in HRIS (ADP experience is an asset)
• Robust organizational skills and problem-solving mindset
