Role Description
This is a full time on-site position for a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist based in Owen Sound, ON. The physiotherapist will specialize in providing assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation interventions for clients with pelvic health concerns. Key responsibilities include developing personalized treatment plans, offering client education, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The physiotherapist will play a vital role in contributing to a positive client experience and fostering their journey to recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in pelvic floor physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Excellent communication, client education, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Registration and good standing with a governing physiotherapy body, along with licensure to practice in Ontario
- A Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Experience or interest in integrating yoga and fitness techniques into rehabilitation plans is an asset
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practices
