About The Role

The primary objective of this role is to manage the land and aggregate resources necessary to develop and sustain the operations in the Pacific Region/PNW of Amrize. The Land Manager will also be expected to support the Southern BC region as directed by the Land Director. Key management duties include targeting and acquisition of new aggregate properties, negotiation of Agreements, permitting/approval activities, developing positive relationships with provincial and municipal governments, local First Nations, neighbors and communities, and effective documentation of land resources using the Land Information System (“LIS”).

What They’ll Accomplish

- Strategic Land Acquisition & Disposition: target, acquire, and divest aggregate properties to sustain operations, maximizing value for Amrize. This involves due diligence, valuation, and negotiation.
- Permitting & Regulatory Compliance: secure and maintain all necessary land and resource permits and approvals from various government bodies in BC and Washington State, including strict adherence to deadlines for mineral tenures and mining claims.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: develop and maintain positive relationships with provincial and municipal governments, First Nations, local communities, landowners, and neighbors to ensure smooth operations and uphold Amrize's industry leadership.
- Agreement Negotiation & Management: lead negotiations for agreements with external third parties to develop and maintain businesses, and manage leasing of Amrize land assets to maximize income and limit liabilities.
- Land & Resource Best Practices Implementation:



ensure compliance with existing permits and lead the business in the use of best practices for land and resource management, coordinating with regional teams on reserve quantification, mining, and reclamation activities.
- Extensive Knowledge of Regulations & Property Law: possess a deep understanding of rules, laws, agreements, and contracts related to property issues, real estate, building/zoning, and reclamation in British Columbia and Washington State.
- Experience in Aggregate Resource Management: 5+ years managing aggregate resources, roadbuilding, or municipal government, especially with local land regulations and permitting.
- Project Management & Problem‑Solving Skills: set priorities, complete multiple tasks by deadlines, and demonstrate strong independent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Communication & Community Relations: strong written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in community relations and public presentations, and the ability to represent Amrize at various public and governmental functions.
- Data & Records Management: maintain land and resource documents, keep data timely and communicated, and support development of the Land Information System (LIS).
- Commitment to Health, Safety & Environmental Policies: communicate, improve and adhere to safety and environmental policies in all work environments; promote a culture of safety.

What We’re Looking For

Education: University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent experience.

Field of Study Preferred: Engineering, Business, Geology, or related field.

Required Work Experience: 5+ years in management of aggregate resources, roadbuilding, or municipal government,



including experience in local land regulations, permitting, property sale/purchase, due diligence and contracts.

Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, SAP, and Land Information System (LIS).

Travel Requirements: 25% travel. Presence in the markets is required; trips are usually scheduled in advance but may be short notice.

Additional Requirements: Works well on teams; demonstrates leadership ability; attention to detail; independent problem solving and analytical skills; excellent people management skills; disciplined and process‑oriented; knowledge of aggregate, municipal government, or roadbuilding; land use/permit principles, real estate, water rights, geology, wetlands are assets; ability to represent Amrize at community meetings, government functions, and trade associations; willingness to work evenings for hearings; adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE; respirator wear requirements.
