In the role of Project Manager, you will be central to advancing the Inuit Housing Construction Program in Nunavik. This position requires the coordination of various elements such as project planning, procurement processes, and financial oversight. You'll play a key role in enhancing local employment opportunities, facilitate effective recruitment, and provide vital technical support to the construction teams in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the planning and execution of housing construction
• Collaborate closely with subcontractors and local communities
• Oversee the purchasing and storage of materials
• Ensure projects align with administrative expectations
• Regularly visit job sites and implement solutions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in building, civil, or architectural engineering
• Three years of experience in project management
• Fluency in at least two languages: Inuktitut, English, or French
• Work from home experience highly regarded
• Understanding of Inuit cultures considered an asset
