Salary: Competitive, based on experience
We are seeking several experienced Project Managers throughout the Toronto/GTA area who have experience in either ICI, building services, or building Science. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects within the Ontario building environment, including adherence to Ontario Building Codes. This role requires expertise in either commercial and or industrial related projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple projects from inception to completion
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to achieve project goals.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers,
and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Codes and construction practices.
- Strong construction / PM experience within Food/Pharma building, Logistic warehouse, cold storages, industrial or commercial
- Experience in building services and building science is essential.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) certification or PMP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
