Position Summary:

The Associate Business Manager will provide critical support for business management activities and portfolio governance within the organization. This role focuses on ensuring financial discipline, organizational structure, and transparent reporting while driving process improvements across multiple technology portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting

o Prepare standard monthly financial reports for assigned technology portfolios

o Manage the accuracy and timelines of all technology cost allocations to the business.

o Budget planning, forecasting, analysis of cost trends, variance research and explanations, management of reporting adjustments for portfolio

• Vendor & Contract Management

o Oversee vendor contracts (3rd party license, professional services) and resource tracking ensuring timely contract renewals and payments

o Manage vendor invoice processes, including forecasting, validation, approval workflows, and reconciliations

• Headcount Planning

o Support headcount planning activities by tracking teams staffing levels, hiring plans

o Assist in preparing hiring approval requests

• Analysis & Problem Resolution

o Conduct cost trend analysis and variance research with actionable recommendations

o Serve as primary liaison for resolving financial, vendor, and operational queries

o Support ad hoc financial reporting as required

o Partner with cross-functional teams to drive process transformation initiatives

Must-have Skills/Experiences and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, project management, or business operations

• Previous experience in technology or financial services environment preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Nice-to-have Skills/Experience and/or Education, certifications, qualifications, designations:

• Accounting designations

• PMO experience

• Experience with Capital Markets business and knowledge base of technology implementation.

The expected base salary range for this position is $45 – $49 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
