Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Technical Consultant with strong functional knowledge across Core HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Learning, and Compensation modules. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud technical components and the ability to design, develop, integrate, and support scalable HCM solutions aligned with business requirements.
This role demands hands-on technical proficiency, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Development & Integration
- Develop and maintain HCM Extracts, BI Publisher (BIP) Reports, and OTBI Analytics.
- Design and implement Fast Formulas across Payroll, Compensation, Absence, and Benefits.
- Build and support HDL/HSDL scripts for bulk data loading and migration.
- Develop and manage integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and file-based interfaces.
- Configure and troubleshoot HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HSDL processes.
- Create custom BIP templates, dashboards, and automated reports/notifications.
- Support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party systems.
- Perform configuration and enhancements for Redwood UI using VB Studio.
Functional & Domain Expertise
- Provide techno-functional support across Core HR and Global HR configurations, including workforce structures and employee lifecycle processes.
- Work extensively with Payroll processes, including elements, balances, costing, and payroll-related Fast Formulas.
- Support Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) processes such as requisition management, candidate lifecycle, and onboarding.
- Configure and support Learning modules, including course management, offerings, approvals, and assignments.
- Manage Compensation cycles, workforce compensation plans, budgeting, and integrations with Core HR.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7–9+ years of experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- HCM Extracts
- OTBI & BI Publisher
- Quick Formulas (Payroll, Compensation, Absence, Perks)
- HDL / HSDL
- OIC / Integrations
- REST & SOAP APIs
- Solid functional understanding of:
- Core HR
- Payroll
- Recruitment (ORC)
- Learning
- Compensation
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, and reporting tools.
- Experience working on implementations, enhancements, and production support.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Redwood UI and Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio).
- Exposure to end-to-end Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Knowledge of data migration strategies and integration best practices.
