Job Summary

We are seeking a results‑driven Senior IT Project Manager who thrives in complex, cross‑team environments and understands that success is measured not only by delivery, but by operational readiness, supportability, and governance discipline. You will partner with service delivery, engineering, security, architecture, release/change teams, and vendors to deliver solutions that are production‑ready and sustainably supported. In this role is focusing specifically on IT infrastructure rather than application development or the SDLC, the Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for providing overall project management for large, complex, and high‑profile infrastructure programmes throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership

- Lead complex technology projects from concept to implementation under the Manager, Business Solutions Services.

Risk Management

- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure business continuity and keep stakeholders informed.

Financial Oversight

- Conduct feasibility studies (CBA/ROI) and manage project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.

Operational Readiness & Support

- Drive end‑to‑end supportability, stability, and compliance before go‑live.
- Develop support models, including runbooks, escalation paths, and transition plans.
- Oversee monitoring, incident response, and access control delivery.





Governance & Delivery Management

- Navigate structured governance, architecture, and security reviews.
- Translate compliance requirements into actionable delivery plans and tracked artefacts.
- Maintain decision logs and scope boundaries to ensure project control.

Cross‑Functional & Environment Coordination

- Manage dependencies and accountability across non‑reporting teams and vendors.
- Oversee environment readiness, QA coordination, and cutover sequencing.
- Align integrated plans with resource capacity and release calendars.

Project Controls & Documentation

- Maintain rigorous project hygiene using RAID logs, status reporting, and intake tools.
- Ensure all artefacts are auditable, centralised, and ready for leadership review.
- Proactively identify resource gaps and communicate delivery trade‑offs.

Requirements

- 10+ years of project management experience leading complex, high‑profile IT projects and programmes.
- PMP designation is a solid asset.
- IT Infrastructure expertise is an asset: demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure, platform, operations‑adjacent, or shared services initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering projects that require coordination across multiple technical and operational teams (security, architecture, release/change, service delivery, etc.).
- Experience operating in a governance‑heavy environment with architecture/security review expectations and formal assessment processes and experience producing and managing delivery artefacts (project plans, RAID, status reporting, dependency tracking, decision logs).
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
