Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud

FTE- Full time/ Permanent Employment

Hybrid: 4 days on-site per week

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud for a Permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud - Job Description:

The project involves leveraging Salesforce Financial Services Cloud to optimize and enhance banking workflows and processes. The role includes a mix of new development and integration with existing core banking systems to improve customer and product lifecycle management.

Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud - Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, requirements, and business processes

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions with relevant stakeholders

• Identify and propose Salesforce out-of-the-box solutions or suitable custom solutions

• Prepare and present material to Salesforce design authority for solution review

• Perform POC and impact analysis on existing Salesforce processes and configurations

• Create functional artifacts such as refined Epics and User stories

• Participate in scrum ceremonies and lead squad refinement sessions





• Support QA by providing functional scenarios and reviewing test cases

• Assist in defect triage and resolution

• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards

Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud - Mandatory Skills:

• Relevant degree in Engineering or related education

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Lead in Salesforce

• 3+ years of experience in the financial industry

• Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions in regulated, enterprise environments

• Deep understanding of banking workflows and financial compliance

• Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud

• Ability to lead conversations with cross-functional teams

Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, and Confluence

• Experience with DevOps pipelines in enterprise settings

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication abilities

• Experience with data lakes integration

Salesforce Functional Lead – Financial Services Cloud – Assignment Length:

This is a permanent position.
