In this pivotal role, you will bring your registered nursing or psychiatric nursing skills to the Berkley Care Centre. This position emphasizes sound judgment and leadership in nursing practice, ensuring personalized care for seniors, including complex medical conditions. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet each resident's unique care goals while maintaining high standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide critical nursing assessments and interventions
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams




• Enhance residents’ quality of life through tailored support
• Develop and implement individual care plans
• Lead training and mentoring for junior staff
Requirements:
• Current RN or Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration
• Completion of an approved gerontology course
• Experience with chronic disease management
• Robust knowledge of palliative care principles
• Ability to manage acute/chronic pain in residents
