In this position, you will deliver structural designs for hydroelectric facilities while conducting critical assessments and rehabilitation studies on existing infrastructure. Collaborating with various disciplines, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations and enhance project outcomes through comprehensive technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design spillways, intake structures, and powerhouse components
• Perform structural assessments and risk evaluations
• Validate compliance with CDA and provincial standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all project phases
• Support construction through inspections and document reviews
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• A minimum of 10 years in structural engineering
• Familiarity with concrete and steel design required
• Hydropower and dams experience highly valued
• P.Eng registration required
