Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Controls Integrator located in Brampton, ON.
The Controls Integrator will design, develop, and implement control systems for our battery‑handling products. Daily tasks include programming PLCs, troubleshooting control systems, collaborating with engineering teams, and testing systems to ensure functionality and compliance. The role may also involve providing technical support, working on customized solutions, and staying abreast of industry advancements to integrate creative solutions into our product offerings.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and control system design
- Experience with system integration, automation, and electrical control systems
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements for industrial settings
- Proficiency in CAD software or similar tools for system design is an asset
- Post‑secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- Experience working with battery‑handling systems or similar equipment is an advantage
