Join our team in Port Alberni, BC and help manage corporate travel expenses while driving cost efficiency and compliance. The Travel Financial Analyst provides analysis, reporting, and insights to support budgeting, policy adherence, and process improvements across the organization.

What You’ll Do

- Analyze travel and expense data to identify trends, variances, and cost drivers.
- Prepare reports by department, project, and cost center, with actionable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with company travel policies and support internal/external audits.
- Develop and maintain travel expense forecasts; support budgeting and scenario analysis.
- Maintain and optimize expense management systems (coding, approvals, reporting).
- Collaborate with Travel and Finance teams to optimize vendor spend and identify savings.
- Perform reconciliations for travel cards, accruals, and prepaid expenses.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency, transparency, and cost control.

What You’ll Bring

- 3 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis, expense management, or corporate accounting.




- Robust experience analyzing transactional data and preparing financial reports.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modeling) and Power BI/Tableau.
- Familiarity with ERP or expense systems (Concur preferred).
- Knowledge of financial controls, reconciliation processes, and audit compliance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Continuous improvement mindset and collaborative approach.
