About The Opportunity

IntePros is partnering with an innovative, data-forward organization in the hospitality technology space seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead cloud-native data architecture initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for defining standards, governance, and scalable design patterns across enterprise data systems.

This individual will influence the future state of data infrastructure, ensuring platforms support analytics, operational reporting, and emerging AI/ML use cases.

What You’ll Do

- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and blueprints
- Architect cloud-native data solutions across AWS or equivalent platforms
- Establish and enforce modeling standards including dimensional, denormalized, and AI-friendly schema design
- Lead the design of transformation layers using DBT
- Architect orchestration patterns for batch, streaming, and event-driven pipelines
- Define data quality frameworks, SLAs, validation processes, and monitoring standards
- Implement governance models covering lineage, cataloging, classification,



and access control
- Mentor Data Engineers and review architecture and pipeline design
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align architecture with business strategy

What We’re Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in data architecture or senior data engineering roles
- 5+ years designing cloud-based data architectures
- Advanced SQL expertise
- Robust experience with DBT and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
- Experience designing data warehouses using star and snowflake schemas
- Experience implementing governance and data quality frameworks
- Familiarity with supporting AI and advanced analytics workloads
- Prior experience in hospitality, travel tech, marketplace, fintech, or high-transaction environments is a plus

This role requires candidates to be based in Toronto and available for a hybrid onsite schedule three days per week once the downtown office opens.
