Your role includes detailed analysis, setting up performance models, and collaborating with both internal and external teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thermodynamic and heat transfer calculations
• Model performance for various fusion pilot plant configurations
• Lead exergy analyses of cycle options for fusion machines
• Create and maintain documentation for system processes
• Act as primary contact for external balance of plant engineers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering
• Demonstrated skills in analytical thermal calculations
• Familiarity with REFPROP, ASPEN HYSYS, or equivalent tools
• Solid teamwork capabilities in engineering projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
