Job Overview

World Meats is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Outside Sales Representative – Protein to support and grow our presence across Ontario. This role is ideal for candidates with a chef background or strong food industry sales experience who understand protein products, customer needs, and relationship-driven sales. You will play a key role in driving growth by building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality meat products.

Responsibilities

- Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and social media
- Present, promote, and sell a wide range of protein and meat products to recent and existing customers
- Use culinary or food industry knowledge to provide tailored product recommendations and solutions
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and satisfaction
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets within defined timelines
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences,



and territory potential to identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, operations) to ensure accurate order fulfillment and delivery
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, customer feedback, and market insights to management
- Represent World Meats professionally at customer meetings, tastings, and industry events
- Required to obtain at least 1 new customer a week

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, preferably in the food, protein, or meat industry
- Chef background or hands-on culinary experience is a strong asset
- Strong understanding of protein products, cuts, and customer applications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to deliver persuasive, customer-specific presentations
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
