The Opportunity

The Manager, People & Culture plays a key role in shaping and delivering an exceptional team experience at KITS.

Working closely with the VP, People & Culture, this role partners with leaders across the organization while managing the programs, processes, and systems that support our teams. This role operates in a dynamic workplace supporting both corporate teams and hourly retail and manufacturing teams, requiring someone comfortable balancing operational excellence with people partnership.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offers

• Partner with hiring managers to support consistent and effective hiring practices

• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience

• Coach and support leaders on performance management, team development, and team relations

• Provide practical guidance to help leaders navigate challenges and build strong teams

• Manage and improve people programs that support engagement and performance

• Facilitate key processes such as bi-annual check-ins and annual performance reviews

• Manage internal communications related to people initiatives and resources

• Administer engagement surveys and share insights with leadership

• Serve as a subject matter expert for advantages and total rewards programs

• Partner with external providers and leadership on benefits administration, renewals, and reporting

• Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and the team handbook

• Ensure alignment with employment standards and evolving best practices





• Manage onboarding and exit processes, including orientation and exit interviews

• Partner with Office Coordinators across locations to support workplace operations, health, and safety

• Stay informed on People & Culture practices and recommend improvements to programs, policies, and team experience

Who You Are

- You bring 5+ years of experience in People Operations, People & Culture, or a similar people-focused role, with exposure to both operational people programs and leader partnership.
- You’ve supported leaders through performance management, team dynamics, and coaching conversations to help build strong teams.
- You have experience managing recruitment processes end-to-end, from posting roles and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and creating a positive candidate experience. You are open to using new tools and creative sourcing approaches to attract great talent.
- You understand employment practices and people operations best practices and apply them in ways that support both compliance and a positive team experience.
- You have an eye for thoughtful team experiences but the brain of a project manager and are able to design people initiatives while executing them with structure and attention to detail.
- You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and programs and ensuring people initiatives run smoothly.
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried teams such as retail, manufacturing, or operational environments is an asset.
- CHRP or similar HR certification preferred but not required.

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $80,000 – $108,000. Final salary will depend on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
