Partner & Head of AI - Launchpad HUB Toronto

Location: Port Credit HUB (Mississauga) – in-person / hybrid

Launchpad Ventures is an AI‑driven venture studio that co‑creates SaaS, RaaS, and Vertical AI startups. Our first equity-integrated office partnership is live in Port Credit, Mississauga, serving the broader Toronto ecosystem. It is also the first home of AFFIRMAITIVE, our flagship AI-powered venture creation platform.

What You’ll Do

Across multiple startups in the studio, you will:

- Act as AI Lead: translate business goals into technical roadmaps and architectures.
- Design and implement AI-powered products, including:
- Build automation and orchestration layers:
- Connect CRMs, email, and internal tools via Make / n8n / Zapier

- Make pragmatic tech choices (OpenAI vs open-source, serverless vs dedicated, etc.) based on cost, reliability, and speed to market.
- Harden prototypes into production-ready workflows (logging, error handling, monitoring, scalability).

Ideal Profile

You likely have:

- 5+ years in software / data / ML engineering, with hands‑on LLM / GenAI experience.




- A track record of shipping production systems, not just demos.
- Robust skills in Python, LLM APIs (OpenAI / Anthropic / etc.), vector DBs, and at least one orchestration/automation tool (Make, n8n, Zapier).
- Comfort working directly with founders and non‑technical partners to scope and prioritize.
- A builder mentality focused on business impact and speed.
- This is NOT a salaried role to start. It’s an equity‑first Partner position across multiple ventures in the studio.
- Cash compensation can be layered in as startups secure funding and generate revenue.
- You’ll be joining as a core Partner in the Port Credit HUB, collaborating closely with founders across multiple ventures.
