Our client in the non-profit sector is seeking aDirector, Marketing Technology & Experienceto lead the strategy, evolution, and optimization of their digital fundraising and supporter engagement ecosystem.This role owns the end-to-end CRM and marketing technology landscape, driving personalization, automation, and data-driven engagement across donor journeys while enabling fundraising growth and operational effectiveness.ResponsibilitiesDefine and lead the multi-year strategy and roadmap for marketing technology, personalization, and digital engagement capabilities.Own the end-to-end CRM and marketing ecosystem, including Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Raiser’s Edge NXT, and Engaging Networks.Define target-state architecture and operating models across CRM, marketing automation, and digital engagement platforms, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.Drive alignment between CRM, marketing platforms, and digital channels to enable segmentation, personalization, and campaign execution at scale.Partner with fundraising teams to enable digital campaigns through automated journeys, email programs, and personalized engagement strategies.Design and optimize end-to-end donor journeys across acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation.Establish performance measurement frameworks and leverage data and insights to continuously optimize campaign performance and supporter experience.Oversee the operation, governance, and continuous improvement of digital platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, website infrastructure, and fundraising systems.Ensure reliable data flow, integration, and synchronization across CRM, marketing platforms, and reporting environments.Lead platform governance including configuration standards, QA practices, release management, and performance monitoring.Oversee website and digital experience optimization,



including SEO, performance, accessibility, and conversion rate improvements.Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners supporting digital platforms, website delivery, and campaign execution.Collaborate with Data & Insights teams to ensure alignment between digital platforms, donor data, segmentation strategies, and reporting capabilities.Drive adoption and change management across fundraising and operational teams to maximize platform utilization and business value.Lead and develop the Marketing Technology team, fostering a culture of delivery excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Requirements8–10+ years of experience leading marketing technology, digital platforms, or CRM-driven engagement ecosystems.Robust experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Engaging Networks, or similar.Experience owning or contributing to CRM ecosystem strategy, ideally including transition from legacy platforms such as Raiser’s Edge to modern cloud-based solutions.Proven experience enabling digital fundraising, donor engagement, and marketing campaign execution through technology platforms.Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, automation, and digital campaign optimization.Experience overseeing platform integrations, data flows, and alignment with analytics/reporting tools.Experience leading website platforms, CMS environments (e.G., Drupal, Optimizely), and digital experience optimization is an asset.Experience managing vendors, agencies, and technology partners.Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.Experience in nonprofit, fundraising, or mission-driven organizations is considered an asset.#J-18808-Ljbffr
