About the Chance
Canada Guaranty’s Corporate Compliance team is currently looking to add a Regulatory Compliance Analyst. The Analyst will support the team in overseeing the company’s enterprise compliance program, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and compliance obligations, managing the enterprise regulatory inventory and related assessments, and using sound judgement to interpret regulatory and compliance risks and effectively monitor and track regulatory changes.
In This Role, You Will
- Regularly review, identify, track, monitor and assess changes to legislation, regulations and guidance relevant to Canada Guaranty and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry best practices, new and emerging regulations and risks to proactively assess their impact on the company.
- Manage and maintain the enterprise regulatory inventory, ensuring all obligations are accurately captured and kept up to date.
- Complete and maintain compliance assessments to ensure an accurate and complete record of the end‑to‑end compliance review process.
- Proactively identify potential regulatory gaps, breaches or emerging risks relevant to the company.
- Support compliance change management initiatives, including impact assessments, issue management tracking and action plans.
- Assist in the planning and performing of compliance monitoring and testing activities, including assessment, review and documentation.
- Track and coordinate regulatory submissions, filings, registrations and licensing renewals ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
Essential Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, law, finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience within a federally regulated financial institution focused on compliance, legal, risk, and/or governance or a directly related area.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with demonstrated ability to interpret and summarize complex information in clear and concise language.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and provincial regulations, OSFI E‑13, corporate compliance management program, risk and control concepts.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience using compliance/GRC tools and Microsoft applications.
- A self‑starter who will take ownership of defined areas and will work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members.
- Proven stakeholder relationship experience and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve compliance objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and perform well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulatory compliance, risk management or governance role within an OSFI regulated financial institution or financial services sector.

The salary range for this position ranges from $64,000 to $72,000. Offers are determined by a variety of factors, including job‑related knowledge, skills and experience, and internal equity.
