We are currently seeking a motivated, Quality Technologist with a 2 year diploma in Mechanical Engineer, or with Manufacturing Engineering Technology experience to join our Operations Team. The Quality Technologist will work closely with Operations and Engineering personnel to maximize the effectiveness of quality inspections and to strengthen vendor support and development.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Program and maintain the quality inspection arm using Inspire Software; develop repeatable inspection routines and measurement strategies
- Create/maintain inspection plans, fixtures, and setup documentation; verify conformance using appropriate gauges and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance methods.
- Analyze NCR results, understand root cause, and support corrective/preventive actions
- Provide vendors with technical information as required.
- Participate in in office vendor visits to deliver quality assistance, review process capability, and follow up on actions.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain to track supplier performance and drive improvement.
- Respond to production engineering-related inquiries
- Use Solid Edge to review models and drawings; perform basic updates (e.g. Dimensions, notes) under engineering guidance.
- Support root‑cause analysis for production or supplier issues and recommend practical fixes aligned with manufacturability under engineering guidance.




- Maintain SAP engineering/quality data—materials, characteristics, inspection results, and related records.
- Ensure accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Cutting Lists; coordinate changes with Engineering and Operations to keep routings and documentation current.
- Maintain traceability and document control in accordance with ISO requirements
- Follow ISO policies and quality system procedures, support audits and readiness activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline inspection throughput, reduce rework, and improve first‑pass yield.
- Work in a secure manner by adhering to all Company Health & Safety policies and legislated rules
- Display a high level of professionalism

Educational Requirements

Two (2) year diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
