The SPARK Program is Navacord Alberta’s summer internship experience designed to provide students and recent graduates with meaningful, hands‑on exposure to the insurance and risk management industry. Interns will gain practical experience, build professional networks, and develop core business skills in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Support day‑to‑day operations across assigned departments (e.g., Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Employee Benefits, Finance, or Marketing)
- Assist with client service activities, including documentation, data entry, and policy administration
- Conduct research and analysis to support team initiatives and projects
- Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and team collaborations
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders




- Deliver a final presentation summarizing internship experience and key learnings

WHAT WE REQUIRE

- Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program (Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field preferred)
- Robust academic record and demonstrated interest in business or financial services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
