Job Description: We have a new opportunity for a Solid Tumour Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Oncology Medical Affairs team. The MSL will develop and nurture relationships, advance scientific credibility with external experts, provide key scientific/medical information, and support internal stakeholders. The role is based in British Columbia or Alberta and covers stakeholders in the western provinces.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain key scientific knowledge to credibly disseminate information to external experts (EEs) and other healthcare professionals (HCPs), fostering professional working relationships.
- Participate in and follow up on assigned investigator-initiated studies (IIS), clinical studies, and medical projects within the therapeutic area.
- Provide scientific support and help maintain relationships with external experts and academic centers.
- Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters to HCPs, individually or in groups.
- Participate in the selection process to identify qualified HCPs for collaboration—research, advisory boards, congresses, symposiums, etc.—ensuring high scientific and educational integrity.
- Attend relevant scientific meetings and conferences, and develop summaries of key data presented.

Qualifications

- Must have an advanced degree: Doctorate, PharmD, or MD.




- Relevant business experience with solid knowledge of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Previous MSL experience preferred.
- Oncology background in gynecologic cancer or other solid tumours is an asset.
- Customer‑facing experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience presenting and/or interpreting scientific or clinical research publications.
- Knowledge of scientific methods applied to clinical research and current legislative/regulatory controls.
- Strong interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for the assigned therapeutic area, product, and medical research in general.

Essential Skills & Abilities

- Advanced English language proficiency (oral and written).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Comfortable with technology and use of various tools/systems for day‑to‑day tasks.
- Travel required about 50% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license and passport.

Key In‑Field Team (IFT) Competencies

- Understand the unmet needs of key stakeholders, make decisions that impact and integrate information into the IFT’s engagement approach.
- Coordinate scientific/medical engagement efforts across stakeholders within a single account to develop interaction plans aligned with the Scientific Interaction Plan (SIP).
- Execute meaningful strategies and data‑based business decisions to exceed IFT business goals.
- Communicate, collaborate, and incorporate the views of other in‑field team members to optimize business objectives.
