- Develop and execute category strategies for the Assets / Equipment category
- Manage supplier relationships and lead supplier negotiations
- Conduct strategic sourcing initiatives and RFP processes
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with vendors
- Analyze spend data and develop category insights
- Monitor market conditions and supplier cost drivers
- Challenge supplier price increases using market intelligence and data analysis
- Ensure supply continuity and manage supplier performance
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and procurement needs
- Educate internal teams on procurement processes, risk mitigation, and sourcing strategies
- Identify cost savings opportunities and deliver measurable value to the business
- Participate in supplier reviews and supplier site visits when required
What you must have
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management
- Experience managing capital equipment, facilities, or technical equipment categories
- Proven ability to develop and execute category strategies
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience
- Experience conducting market research and supplier analysis
- Ability to analyze spend and cost drivers within a category
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
Salary/Rate Range: $93,000.00 – $148,000.00
