You will gain exposure to core accounting functions while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department. You will:Perform high-volume data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness across financial systems.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and tracking.Assist with account reconciliations,
identifying discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy.Help maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies.Support payroll-related data entry and reporting tasks as required.Assist with month-end activities and financial reporting preparation.Work with sensitive data, including patient-related information, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.Collaborate with the finance team to support ongoing projects and operational needs.What You Bring to the JobYou are a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual looking to build your career in finance or accounting.Post-secondary background in Business, Finance, or Accounting (preferred)Strong Excel skills, including working with large datasetsBasic knowledge of accounting principles, including A/P, A/R, and reconciliationsExperience or familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar tools (an asset)Ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detailPossess strong organizational and time management skillsDemonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentQualified job seekers are asked to apply with attention to Shannan Willoughby.
