A role to kick-start your career and start creating impact! The Financial Analyst is an early-career role within the FP&A; team, supporting the financial systems, reporting tools, and data processes that enable accurate financial planning, analysis, and decision‑making. The position is responsible for maintaining system integrity, supporting end‑users, improving financial workflows, while partnering with IT and Finance leadership to enhance system capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional Finance team members while developing an understanding of the end-to-end processes and system dependencies along with being a key member of systems-related project work.

What You'll Be Doing

- Serve as a power user for financial systems, providing day‑to‑day support and troubleshooting
- Support financial system enhancement projects, upgrades and integrations as part of team.
- Partner with Finance group on data alignment, integrity, accuracy, and consistency across financial systems and reports
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through system enhancements or workflow improvements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, assumptions, system configurations, and reporting methodologies
- Demonstrate interest in process optimization, automation, and advancing digital finance capabilities
- Support month‑end close activities and reporting, including model execution, troubleshooting issues related to data dependencies,



integrations, or system changes
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by preparing templates, consolidating inputs, and ensuring data completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with FP&A; to support planning tools, reporting structures, and analytical capabilities
- Build strong working relationships with Finance and cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and system requirements

What You'll Need to Be Successful

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Commerce
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or related roles
- Co-op or internship experience in Finance or Accounting is required for candidates without full-time experience
- Strong foundational knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Exposure to financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP , Oracle, Dynamics), EPM system (e.g., SAC, OneStream, Anaplan) is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to learn and apply financial concepts in a business context
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks in a structured, fast-paced workplace
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and developing digital finance skills
