DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and expand referral pathways with other community-based organizations (CBOs) and service providers to support client needs holistically.
- Oversee and manage programs related to Settlement, Wellness, Recreation, and Art, ensuring alignment with RIWCs mission and funder expectations.
- Modify key deliverables as needed to keep program outcomes on target.
- Ensure program quality assurance through audits, client feedback, and satisfaction surveys.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and final reports; track, compile, and analyze program statistics.
- Manage the allocated budgets for the unit and ensure proper use of funds in compliance with funder agreements.
- Assign caseloads appropriately across federal and provincial streams.
- Stay informed and up to date on immigration policies, settlement trends, and welfare systems in Saskatchewan and across Canada.
- Demonstrate understanding of case management principles, including client confidentiality, goal setting, and needs assessment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree or equivalent education with 3-5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in the non-profit or settlement sector.
- Experience in a similar leadership role working with clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain partnerships with other service provider organizations (SPOs) and community stakeholders.
- Knowledge of community services, newcomer issues, and settlement supports available in Saskatchewan.
- Experience supervising and supporting staff in a multi-program environment.
Excellent organizational, reporting, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of case work practices and client-centered service delivery.
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
