No matter your role, you will be part of a team that is building the future of agriculture – leading breakthroughs in the innovation and application of science and technology that will better the lives of people all over the world and fuel the progress of humankind.The CHRD **Research Associate** will assist with the day-to-day field research operations for the Integrated Field Sciences (IFS) unit of the Crop Health Research & Development organization encompassing seed applied technology, biologicals, fertility enhancement, and crop protection research projects at internal and off-site locations in Manitoba. The CHRD Research Associate will help lead the implementation of field experiments, assist with collecting and reporting data, and help train and manage the summer crew. This position will also be a partner to the commercial team at Corteva to support the demonstration and launch of our new product concepts. This role offers opportunities to build strong technical, operational, and leadership capabilities within the Integrated Field Sciences team. The CHRD Research Associate will gain exposure to multiple stages of the product development pipeline.This is a full‐time, permanent role within CHRD, supporting Corteva’s long‐term CHRD discovery and development research efforts in Manitoba. This role involves a combination of office‐based planning and hands‐on field work. This position will require commuting regularly to Carman, MB. Seasonal workload variability is expected, with peak activity during the growing season.



The position requires outdoor work in variable weather conditions and regular travel to internal and off‐site trial locations within the province of Manitoba. This role is ideal for candidates seeking a stable, long‐term career in applied field research within a collaborative and science‐driven organization.**What You’ll Do:*** Contributes to the overall planning and implementation of the field research program and ensures that local needs are incorporated as appropriate.* Collaborate with team members to conduct field work in a timely fashion (i.e. land preparation, seeding, fertilizing, spraying, harvesting), including the transportation of equipment (i.e. trailering) to off-site locations to perform field operations.* Supervises the daily tasks of summer assistants and shares the responsibility to create an effective performance plan for each intern.* Executes field research in a scientific manner, collects data in a timely fashion, and provides input into the final project summarizations.* Provides day‐to‐day oversight of the Manitoba field equipment fleet, including routine inspections, basic upkeep, and coordinating servicing or repairs when required to ensure safe and reliable field operations.* Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and is an accountable advocate for the safety culture of Corteva Agriscience.* Manages the day-to-day operation of the field research stations as well as the off-site trials in Manitoba.* Partners with cross‐functional teams including Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial to support research objectives,
