Now Hiring: Reliability Engineer
Location: Quebec – GRIT
We are looking for a strong Product Performance Engineer / Specialist to join the Accessories Programs team in a high-impact role supporting in-service engine accessories product performance and dependability management.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading product dependability activities, managing accessories investigation life cycles, owning key performance metrics, and coordinating closely with the India-based dependability management team. This position is ideal for someone who combines technical aerospace knowledge, data-driven decision-making, and strong stakeholder management skills.
What you will do:
- Lead product dependability activities for Accessories programs, including trend monitoring, reliability drivers, and corrective actions
- Own engine accessories product performance, including safety, reliability, and availability
- Coordinate reliability studies, SDRs, screen teams, accident reviews, quarterly reliability reviews, SMS, and executive product performance reviews
- Manage the complete accessories investigation lifecycle end-to-end
- Drive investigation KPI performance, including turnaround time, missed investigations, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Customer Programs, frontline teams, PWCS, suppliers, and service engineering teams
- Act as subject matter expert for product dependability processes and KPIs
- Coach and support both Canadian and India-based teams
- Maintain dashboards and reports tied to investigation performance
- Support new business models and strategies related to dependability and performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in Aerospace, Aftermarket, Operations, or related fields
- Strong business communication skills in English
Preferred experience:
- Strong knowledge of gas turbine engines
- Experience with aftermarket service, aircraft maintenance, product performance, and reliability management
- Ability to translate technical data into action plans and strategy
- Strong understanding of FMEA, component failure impact, engine certification requirements, corrective actions, SMS, and risk assessment methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI, ENOVIA, SAP, and data mining
- Robust people, project, and stakeholder management skills
- Process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
