Transform lives as a Multi-lingual Career Advisor for visible minority women. This position emphasizes trauma-informed support and individual service models, providing both in-person and virtual assistance.
The successful candidate will provide specialized employment services focused on survivors of violence and abuse. Collaborating with a committed team, you’ll create individualized action plans and facilitate essential skill development. You will also be involved in outreach to connect with the community and promote resources tailored to the unique needs of participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver specialized employment services to diverse women
• Ensure clients have safety plans and basic needs met
• Create customized client action plans for job readiness
• Facilitate training in soft skills and resilience
• Actively recruit participants through community outreach
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of relevant Career Advising experience
• Proficiency in English and at least one other language
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Comprehensive knowledge of support resources
• Criminal Record Check required
