We are seeking an experienced Cloud Cyber Security Solutions Architect to provide expert technology risk advisory and drive secure cloud adoption across the organization.

In this role, you will partner with Cyber Security Operations leadership to assess current and future-state cloud architectures, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable cloud migrations. You will identify security risks, define security standards, and develop reusable architectural assets such as secure design patterns and reference architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess cloud architectures and define secure target-state designs
- Identify and evaluate security risks in cloud environments
- Design and govern cloud security controls (IAM, network security, data protection, logging, monitoring)
- Develop and maintain cloud security standards, reference architectures, and design patterns
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
- Partner with stakeholders to communicate security risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support secure cloud migration initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in IT or cyber security, including cloud environments




- 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a senior cloud security role
- Strong experience working in complex, regulated environments
- Proven ability to assess security posture and design secure cloud architectures
- Hands-on experience with IAM, network security, and data protection controls
- Robust communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business impact

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, and ISO/IEC 27001/27002
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience developing security standards and reusable architecture artifacts
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (CSA Cloud Controls Matrix, CIS Benchmarks)
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SABSA
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
