Lead oil & gas closure projects as a Senior Environmental Project Manager. Oversee complex site assessments and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
This role involves managing projects primarily within BC, while being based in Calgary or Edmonton. With a focus on contaminated site assessment and remediation, the Project Manager will work closely with clients and regulatory bodies for effective solution delivery. You'll lead the planning and execution of environmental assessments, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the necessary compliance frameworks and risk-based strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Phase I and II environmental site assessments
• Develop site-specific guidelines and risk assessment plans
• Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines
• Mentor junior project staff and promote safety protocols
• Write technical reports and manage client relationships
Requirements:
• Minimum 6+ years in environmental consulting
• Graduate degree in environmental sciences or related field
• Skilled designation or eligibility with relevant organizations
• 5 years in Oil & Gas consulting in Alberta/BC
• Field experience in site assessments and sampling techniques
