Help us set the bar high across our entire organization so we can keep exceeding customer expectations. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance through training and preparation.

The Technical Training Specialist develops, delivers, and continuously improves technical training programs that support MRO operations at StandardAero. The role partners with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Safety to ensure technicians are trained to work safely, compliantly, and efficiently, while strengthening overall workforce capability and operational performance.

Success in this role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to simplify complex concepts into practical training, and a collaborative, stakeholder-focused approach. It also involves a solid emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with work conducted across classroom, office, and shop‑floor settings, and occasional travel and scheduling flexibility as needed.

What You’ll Do

- Design and deliver technical training programs across aircraft systems, engines, and components, using a mix of classroom, hands‑on, OJT, and digital learning methods
- Translate engineering data, OEM manuals, and regulatory requirements into practical,



easy-to-understand training materials and assessments
- Evaluate training effectiveness, provide coaching to learners, and continuously improve content based on feedback, performance data, and operational needs
- Ensure training programs meet TC, FAA, EASA, and customer requirements, maintaining accurate records to support audits and compliance reviews
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Safety, and HR to support onboarding, upskilling, and new product or process rollouts

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, MRO, or a related aerospace environment
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications / Characteristics

- AME certification is a plus
- Previous experience as a technical instructor or trainer is desired but not required
- Experience delivering technical or hands‑on training is preferred
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is ideal
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or education‑related field, or an associate degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
