Responsibilities Identify, manage and develop sustainable partnerships for the business. Engage and onboard new partners that align with the organization’s strategy. Negotiate partnership agreements, focusing on long‑term success and sustainability. Manage ongoing collaborations with partners, overseeing the relationship and ensuring compliance with agreed terms and objectives. Develop joint marketing strategies that leverage the strengths of both partners to maximize market reach and impact. Monitor the performance of partnership initiatives, analyze data to assess success and areas for improvement. Represent the business at partner events and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Analyze portfolio profitability and recommend and negotiate initiatives to increase lead flow. Work with the product and certifications teams to ensure up‑to‑date integration and certification of partners. Apply consistently high communication and knowledge to resolve day‑to‑day administrative and operational issues such as partner problem resolution and implementation schedules. Coordinate the boarding of new merchant referrals. Provide recommendations to management regarding acquiring/revenue opportunities and work with the Director of Integrated Solutions to identify and implement new revenue opportunities at the beginning of each fiscal year.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, marketing, or another relevant field. Bilingual in French and English (preferred). At least 2 years of experience in relationship management in the payment processing, software, technology, or eCommerce field. Entrepreneurial self‑starter with a proven track record in generating and winning new opportunities within the payments ecosystem. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong analytical, initiative, and problem‑solving skills when dealing with external and internal stakeholders. Proven experience in cultivating and managing relationships, with a track record of successful partnership development. Excellent contract‑negotiation skills, able to secure favorable terms while maintaining good partner relations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for managing relationships and facilitating partner negotiations. Ability to communicate professionally and comfortably with senior decision makers within an organization. Strong interpersonal skills and experience interacting with various departments to develop and maintain a network of contacts. Effective planning, organization, and time‑management skills to manage multiple simultaneous activities.
Developed analytical and financial skills to maximize revenue and profitability. Knowledge of communications networks and links related to point‑of‑sale systems is an asset. Experience in the payment processing industry or related experience is highly valued. Benefits Base salary $60,000 – $70,000 plus monthly commissions. On‑target earnings (OTE) $100k.
