Elevate payroll excellence as a Senior Payroll Specialist. You will enhance payroll operations and ensure compliance for a national organization with a hybrid work model of four days onsite and one day remote.
In this hands-on role, you will manage payroll processing across multiple entities and support a collaborative team environment. The position requires working closely with HR and Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll delivery while addressing employee lifecycle changes and audit requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support the payroll team with technical guidance
• Ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll processing across entities
• Review for compliance with Canadian payroll legislation
• Act as a point of contact for complex payroll inquiries
• Assist with T4 and RL1 reporting and reconciliations
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years experience in a payroll lead or senior role
• PCP certification is required; CPM is an asset
• Robust knowledge of Canadian payroll compliance
• Proficiency with payroll systems like ADP or Workday
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and look-ups
