Position Summary

As our Senior Field Marketing Manager, you’ll be in the driver seat of our brand’s physical presence to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our global field marketing programs. This role is a unique blend of high-level strategic oversight and hands‑on execution. You will transform a large budget and a high‑volume calendar into a key growth engine for our Intelligent Mobility traffic solutions. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of every event— from identifying high‑impact opportunities and negotiating contracts to managing “boots on the ground” logistics and analyzing post‑show ROI to drive pipeline and brand engagement.

Objectives and Responsibilities

- Design a Global Roadmap:



Lead Miovision’s global trade show and field marketing strategy to hit pipeline and revenue goals.
- Master the Event Lifecycle: Own end‑to‑end planning and execution for Miovision’s global event portfolio, including national and regional industry trade shows as well as ancillary customer‑facing events.
- Amplify Our Voice: Act as the internal lead for corporate activities related to national trade shows to build solution awareness and thought leadership through sponsorships and conference speaking opportunities.
- Empower the Field: Partner with Sales leadership to design territory‑specific programs that drive pipeline and give field reps the tools they need to represent the brand effectively.
- Launch with Precision: Collaborate with internal product and product marketing teams for the in‑market launch of new services and features.
- Optimize the Engine: Track and report on ROI, lead conversions, and funnel data to ensure every event is contributing to our bottom line.
- Manage the Logistics Hub: Manage multiple vendors, legal approvals, and budget reconciliation while maintaining our inventory of marketing assets and collateral.
- Travel: Travel up to 20% to execute events.

Ideal Profile

- Event Expertise: You have mastered the craft of executing large‑scale trade shows and complex marketing campaigns, preferably within the tech or channel‑based sectors.
- Data Driven: You don't just “do” events; you measure them. You understand lead stages, funnel KPIs, and how to use data (and tools like Salesforce) to optimize marketing ROI.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: You are a natural communicator who can work cross‑functionally with Sales, Product, and external agencies to keep everyone moving in the same direction.




- Detailed Operator: You are extremely organized and detailed oriented. You can manage multiple moving parts, from legal contracts to “boots on the ground” logistics, without breaking stride.
- High‑Level Strategy, Ground‑Level Grit: You are comfortable building the annual strategy, but you find genuine professional satisfaction in the “art of the execution” and are happy to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty as well.
- Travel: You are ready to hit the road (approximately 20% travel) to ensure our brand presence is flawless in person.

Location

Hybrid with our Kitchener HQ or remote within Canada.
