We are seeking a full-time Controller to join our finance team in either our Saskatoon or Regina office. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on accounting leader that is detail‑oriented,
highly organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. They will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s core accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial records.

The Chance:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Controller will be based in either Regina or Saskatoon and will provide day‑to‑day operational oversight across general accounting, trust accounting, payroll, and financial reporting. Below is a high‑level overview of the role’s core accountabilities.

- Accounting Operations, Payroll & Compliance
- Month End & Year End Close
- Audit & Financial Review Support
- Systems & Process Improvement

Key Qualifications & Attributes:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum 5‑8 years of progressive, hands‑on accounting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong working knowledge of trust accounting,



payroll processing, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience leading month end and year end close processes.
- Experience with payroll systems; experience using Dayforce is considered a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with legal accounting and billing systems.
