Lead technical accounting practices as a detail-oriented manager. Provide subject matter expertise on US GAAP, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and supporting financial reporting initiatives.
This highly motivated role requires 5+ years in progressive accounting, including strength in GAAP standards and complex financial reporting. You'll partner with stakeholders to operationalize reporting needs and manage SOX compliance activities. In addition, you'll prepare accounting position papers and collaborate with external auditors during key financial audits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare formal accounting position papers and memos
• Consult on accounting implications of business transactions
• Document financial processes and internal controls




• Facilitate SOX compliance through process documentation
• Liaise with external auditors during review periods
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
• Experience in documenting financial processes
• Effective written and oral communication skills
