In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic planning of various conservation projects aimed at protecting Alberta’s boreal wetlands. Building relationships with stakeholders, including Indigenous communities, is crucial for the co-development of impactful educational programs. Your strong planning, budgeting, and communication skills will help foster meaningful community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Boreal Wetland Centre operations and reporting
• Build and maintain diverse stakeholder relationships




• Collaborate with Indigenous groups on project development
• Identify funding sources and deliver project proposals
• Lead educational outreach activities and initiatives
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant conservation experience
• College diploma in ecology or natural resource management
• Strong project management and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of Alberta’s wetland policies
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
