Role Overview

The Program Implementation Coach is a specialized role within the Bruce‑Grey Catholic District School Board focused on improving student well‑being, achievement, and independence.

Responsibilities

- Build staff capacity through collaboration, consultation, and coaching of school teams, including Educational Assistants.
- Inform, model, and coach school teams in evidence‑based strategies such as Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), communication, and prompting/fading techniques.
- Support students with diverse needs by ensuring fidelity to behaviour plans through in‑action coaching and feedback.
- Travel daily and provide service delivery to all BGCDSB sites.

Qualifications

Education: Post‑secondary diploma in Child and Youth Worker, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Human Services Worker, Educational Assistant or equivalent.

Education (continued):



Post‑secondary certificate/certification in Autism and Behavioural Sciences or Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) course (completed or in progress) or equivalent behavioural certification or training.

Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 5 years of experience in special education or a related field, preferably in a school setting; proven experience supporting students with diverse special education needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and externalized/dysregulated behaviours; robust practical expertise in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA); extensive knowledge of evidence‑based practices for promoting student independence.
