EB Games has an exciting new opportunity for a Pricing Analyst in our Store Support Centre in Brampton, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or two years of related experience or training. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- analyzing pricing data from industry standards, previous sales trends and competitors, and reporting data to decision-makers;
- identifying marketing strategies to increase profits;
- developing measurement tools to identify changing market trends;
- identifying appropriate sales and clearance prices to increase customer traffic;
- comparing sales trends to previous periods and determining the cause for decrease or increase; and
- creating, monitoring and tracking retails, margins within the company’s markdown strategy.

The skills and experience required for success in this role are:





- Strong analytical skills are necessary to compare sales trends and determine market data;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important as pricing analysts work with team members at all levels, including store associates, office staff and executive team members;
- Close attention to detail while remaining accurate is crucial in the analysis of large collections of data;
- Problem-solving skills are required to identify declining sales trends and devise strategies to improve them;
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint;
- Interest in learning current technologies;
- Adaptability to change;
- Desire to troubleshoot independently;
- Ability to offer suggestions for improving internal processes;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
