Interior Designer – Vancouver

We are looking for a passionate Interior Designer to join our Vancouver team and work on exciting new projects across a diverse spectrum of unique and meaningful spaces.

About Michael Green Architecture (MGA)

MGA is a Vancouver-based architecture and design studio creating innovative, sustainable projects that push the boundaries of technology and construction. Our work spans more than 20 countries and 400+ projects, from private homes and cultural installations to residential master plans and university campuses.

What You’ll Get Up To

- Jump into complex, high-profile interior design projects both local and abroad
- Work side‑by‑side with our interior design team to bring ideas to life, from concept sketches to final details on site
- Collaborate closely with our architecture team from the early stages in a fully integrated design process
- Create stunning presentations, develop interior schedules, and lead FF&E; selections
- Produce full interior drawing sets in Revit; coordinated, accurate, and well‑crafted
- Work with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors, and the rest of our MGA team
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a studio culture where everyone grows
- Represent MGA as an ambassador for our design values in client meetings, industry events, and in every project we deliver

Qualifications

- 3+ years of interior design experience (public, commercial, or institutional is an asset)
- CIDA‑accredited degree; NCIDQ completed or in progress
- Strong design, graphic, and technical skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
- Experience producing full drawing sets and coordinating with consultants




- Working knowledge of building codes (BCBC and beyond)
- Strong eye for finishes, lighting, fixtures, and furniture
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and a clear communicator
- Comfortable adapting to evolving tools and workflows, including AI
- RHFAC knowledge is an asset
- Proactive, takes ownership, and spots issues before they escalate

Location & Eligibility

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Canada and be based in Vancouver, BC. Registration with IDIBC, or eligibility for registration in British Columbia, is required.
