At OCWA, we have a deep respect for the environment and our responsibility for the health of the communities we serve drives us.In this role you will:• Develop and implement project plans in consultation with OCWA/external clients for infrastructure technology projects and/or components of IT projects with infrastructure technology elements, including the development of business cases, and the development and coordination of project submissions through the approvals process• Lead infrastructure architecture, network engineering, server optimization and data centre hosting projects• Lead province-wide network topology and associated software, hardware and data centre upgrades• Responsible for email, internet gateway, cyber security and backup optimization strategies• Implement system change management processes that conform with GO-ITS Systems Development Life Cycle best practices• Plan and manages project for the design, development and implementation of infrastructure technology models, standards and related procedures and processes, and makes operational decisions related to assigned projects/ activities to achieve objectives within required timelines• Provide technical leadership, guidance, advice and subject matter expertise to assigned project team members and consultants including determining work priorities and assignments; assigning ongoing projects/initiatives; providing ongoing guidance and technical direction; assessing and approving tasks as part of the change management cycle• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate mitigation measures.• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the integration of cybersecurity best practices into all infrastructure technology projects.Knowledge and Skills:• Knowledge of IT operational methods and technologies including hardware platforms, software, networks, databases, applications, email, technology infrastructure and operational services, and current methodologies pertaining to server virtualization, network design, development, testing and implementation to evaluate infrastructure architectural requirements, devise/assess architectural solutions• Knowledge of system development life cycle; solution integration, management, evaluation and control mechanisms; database concepts; networking; hardware environments; change management; business analysis, including network, server and security design and IT infrastructure management; capacity planning; quality assurance; risk/problem management; disaster/recovery planning; business process modelling and process re-engineering; and standards, trends, methods, tools and techniques• IT security methodologies, vulnerability assessment methodologies, security design and architecture• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices in IT and OT environments, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management.• Experience with implementing and managing security measures to protect IT and OT systems from cyber threats.• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to cybersecurity in IT and OT environments.Interpersonal, Communication and Analytical Skills:• Lead the planning and delivery of multiple infrastructure technology project initiatives across the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) enterprise.• Project management skills, including planning, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, measuring, monitoring and controlling, to manage multiple, concurrent, complex large-scale infrastructure technology projects.• Research, analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills to conduct infrastructure technology analysis and provide infrastructure technology expertise and solutions• Customer service skills that ensure interactions with both internal and external clients are reflective of a high level of consultation, negotiating, counseling and presentation ability.• Communication, facilitation and advisory skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships, to provide advice and to conduct meetings and training with senior management, operations management and staff, board of directors, clients and other stakeholders.• Consultation,
