Senior IT Auditor (Internal Audit)

? Location: Toronto, ON (preferred) or Remote in Canada (must work EST hours)

? Contract Duration: 9 months (mid–end April start, to Jan 2027)

Millenilink is hiring on behalf of our client, a large, multinational Natural Resources organization to hire up to two Senior IT Auditors to strengthen their IT controls and SOX program in a complex ERP environment. The successful candidates must have expertise with internal audit as well as prepping the organization for external checks.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and support internal IT audit activities (ITGCs, application & automated controls).

- Work within a SOX environment: testing, documentation, and driving the execution of remediation activities

- Act as the primary point of contact and liaise with internal & external auditors and control owners across IT and business.

- Drive evidence collection, follow-ups, and action tracking across multiple stakeholders.





- Provide IT controls input on projects (JDE Edwards ERP system changes, ServiceNow, HR & payroll system migrations).

You’ll be supported by an internal IT Strategy & Compliance lead who oversees the work and joins key meetings, but you are expected to operate as a confident, experienced practitioner.

What We’re Looking For

- 5–10+ years in IT audit / technology risk / IT assurance (consulting or internal audit).

- Strong hands-on SOX IT controls experience (ITGCs + application controls).

- Proven ability to work directly with Big 4 / mid-tier / external auditors and internal audit.

- Solid ERP controls background; JDE (JD Edwards) is a strong plus, not mandatory.

- Excellent stakeholder management: able to influence and follow up with control owners who may be resistant or “audit fatigued.”

- Clear written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
