We are seeking a driven Sales & Estimating skilled to identify, pursue, and win work within the construction and industrial markets. This role is responsible for developing bid opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and managing the estimating and contracting process from lead through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify bid opportunities within an assigned sales territory
- Build relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, industrial facilities, architects, and government entities
- Use Salesforce and ConstructConnect to identify, track, and manage sales opportunities
- Communicate product solutions that meet both stated and anticipated customer needs
- Visit job sites to gather information required for accurate pricing
- Develop detailed estimates, including equipment, labor, freight, and compliance requirements
- Prepare and submit price quotes using internal estimating tools
- Coordinate contracts, prequalification,
billing accuracy, and change orders
- Support project start-ups to ensure crews have clear direction
- Identify upsell opportunities across a full portfolio of access and scaffolding products
- Provide weekly activity reports to sales leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in scaffold and work access sales, including labor-based contracts
- Strong background in estimating scaffold or access projects
- Salesforce experience in a construction environment
- Construction industry experience; engineering, drafting, or estimating background preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Hands‑on experience as a scaffold builder or foreman strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Sales, or a related field preferred
