This intermediate-level role involves working with a senior Technologist or Engineer and providing support on smaller projects. You will assist with engineering design activities, perform quality assurance for CAD models, and coordinate drafting work to guarantee adherence to industry standards. Your contributions will be vital in multiple project phases, including field engineering and site assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in design activities for electrical distribution systems
• Completed drafting work within timelines and budget
• Conduct thorough QA/QC for all models and standards compliance
• Liaise with project managers to fulfill project requirements
• Document and archive all project-related drafting work
Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in electrical design consulting
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology required
• Excellent command of AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Familiarity with Canadian Electrical Codes and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
