KIT Recruitment has partnered with a dynamic and growing organization to hire an Accounts Payable Lead to oversee and strengthen the company’s end-to-end Procure-to-Pay operations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on financial leader who enjoys improving processes, mentoring teams, and ensuring vendor payments are executed efficiently and accurately.

Working closely with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Treasury, and Finance, you’ll play a key role in optimizing payment workflows, strengthening vendor relationships, and driving automation within the AP function.

Accounts Payable Lead – Details

• Compensation From CA$55-70K

• Monday thru Friday – ONSITE – 8am – 5pm

• 2 weeks' vacation

Accounts Payable Lead - Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight

• Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and reconciliations

• Monitor AP aging to ensure timely payments and maintain clean vendor ledgers

• Manage vendor relationships, resolve inquiries, and oversee regular reconciliations





• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Finance to resolve discrepancies and streamline workflows

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit support

• Prepare AP reports and KPIs to support payment performance and working capital insights

• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP enhancements

Accounts Payable Lead - Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience

• 1–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role

• Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and financial close requirements

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 or similar ERP systems

• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting

• Process improvement mindset with interest in automation and operational efficiency
