Position Details
The University of Windsor Department of Athletics and Recreational Services invites applications for the position of Head Coach, Women’s Volleyball commencing as early as July 1, 2026. This position will oversee operations of the Lancer women’s volleyball program and is an Academic Ancillary Staff position which may be renewed by the President for periods of two (2) to five (5) years after the initial three-year term.
Responsibilities
The Head Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for the organization, administration, fundraising, coaching and recruitment duties for the women’s varsity volleyball program. Additional administrative duties within the Department of Athletics and Recreational Services will be assigned.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- NCCP Competition - Development certification or equivalent
- Robust volleyball coaching background
- Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- NCCP Competition – High performance certification or equivalent
- Previous volleyball coaching background at the University or College level
- Previous coaching experience in women’s volleyball
Compensation
$85,000 - $133,896. Salary range per Article A Table A.1 of the current Collective Agreement with the Windsor University Faculty Association. Compensation will consider the existing salary structure, experience, and available budget. Full benefits, including a pension plan and medical benefits,
are available.
